I just recently wrapped up a brand Effin NEW track titled: "Train Ride to the DarkSide"

It features fellow Washington Heights MC - EMZ Money, and is produced by Zayan MusiQ who comes out of the BX!

This track is hard as f*ck and the production on it is killer.  Overall it's a dark song and your imagination starts to run wild as the gritty beat sucks you in.

Zayan MusiQ is a Music composer / arranger hoping to get his music into films, commercials and T.V shows.  You can hear his latest stuff on his ReverbNation and Soundcloud pages.  Don't sleep - he's got some ill beats and I'll definitely be working with him again soon!

June 8, 2010 - Not your average rapper, not your ordinary MC.  Owen Eff is so much more.  Born and bred uptown inNew York City, this Washington Heights lyricist is definitely a breath of fresh air in a room full of ganja smoke and stale rhymes.  Guaranteed to make "no talent rappers rethink their career choice" says Owen.

"Uptown Creative Lab's Open Mic is moving in a new direction, seeking out artists who give their artistic medium a little edge, something that we may not have heard", says Williams, Creative Director.  He continues, "When I came across Owen Eff's material, I knew he had to be our first featured artist!"

Owen Eff will be performing at 9pm on Tuesday June 15, 2010 at Uptown Creative Lab at DR LOUNGE - 4460 Broadway New York, NY.  The usual Open Mic will have 10 slots available and begin promptly at 8pm.  There's a $5 cover which includes a free drink.
